GOLFING AT ITS BEST
Al Hamra Golf Club features a championship lush green 18-hole course meandering around interconnected four lagoons in the Arabian Gulf, making in one of the most scenic golf courses in the region. A stunning Par 72 Championship golf course measuring 7,400 yards with five tee options on each hole, it suits all skill levels. It is a DP World Tour venue hosting the Ras Al Khaimah Championship. It also hosted the Hero MotoCorp Ras Al Khaimah Team Challenge, a televised event, and the European Challenge Tour from 2016 to 2018.
Originally planned on salt flats, the course now boasts gentle elevation changes thanks to five million cubic meters of sand and expert shaping. Designed by Peter Harradine, Al Hamra Golf Club opened its doors in 2007. The club features zero-pollution floodlights, allowing night play on a composite 9-hole course created from the front and back nines. Not only this, but it is also the first 100 percent plastic free golf club in the region. The club is also home to indoor Paddle Tennis courts, a perfect setting for intense matches or friendly games among friends on hot afternoons.
