Ras Al Khaimah, UAE – 23 July 2026: Al Hamra has appointed AHK Worldwide as the main interior fit-out contractor for Waldorf Astoria Residences Ras Al Khaimah, marking the next major stage in the delivery of the USD 225 million development.
AHK Worldwide will undertake the complete interior fit-out, with responsibility for delivering the level of craftsmanship, precision and detailing expected of a Waldorf Astoria branded residence. The project is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2028.
The appointment comes as work advances on the limited beachfront collection on the shores of Al Hamra. The development comprises 37 bespoke residences and a single Sky Palace, bringing the Waldorf Astoria residential experience to Ras Al Khaimah.
For Al Hamra, the fit-out stage is where the quality of the completed homes will become most visible. Materials, finishes and execution will need to carry the design intent through to the final residence, while meeting the practical expectations of owners.
Benoy J. Kurien, Group Chief Executive Officer of Al Hamra, said the development has been planned around comfort, functionality and lasting quality.
"At Waldorf Astoria Residences Ras Al Khaimah, our focus has always been on creating an unparalleled residential experience where luxury is expressed through exceptional quality, thoughtful design, and meticulous attention to detail. Every aspect of the development has been carefully considered with the end user in mind; from comfort and convenience to enduring elegance and functionality. AHK Worldwide's expertise and track record in delivering world-class interiors make them an ideal partner to help bring this vision to life and ensure these residences set a new benchmark for luxury living in the region."
Fadi Abla, Chief Executive Officer of AHK Worldwide, said:
"We are proud to be entrusted with the fit-out of such a landmark development. Drawing on more than three decades of specialist hospitality delivery across the MENA region, we are committed to interiors defined by precision, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance that align with the prestige of both Al Hamra and the Waldorf Astoria brands."
AHK Worldwide brings more than three decades of specialist hospitality experience across the MENA region. Its brief at Waldorf Astoria Residences Ras Al Khaimah will centre on workmanship, material quality and close attention to detail throughout the interiors.
The contractor appointment follows two significant sales at the development. The Sky Palace was sold for USD 35.4 million – a transaction Al Hamra announced as the highest-value single residential sale recorded in Ras Al Khaimah – while the signature penthouse sold for USD 15 million.
Those sales point to growing international interest in Ras Al Khaimah's ultra-luxury residential market and in branded homes that combine private ownership with a recognised hospitality name.
With the main interior fit-out contractor now appointed, Waldorf Astoria Residences Ras Al Khaimah moves into a more execution-focused phase. The priority from here is straightforward: turn the project's design and material specifications into finished homes ahead of the planned 2028 completion.
